Action 5.04a | Establish cultural parks/preserves and heritage corridors for visitation and education, such as:

1. Palau’ea Cultural preserve - 21 acres/education center/includes native flora and fauna

2. Honua’ula South preserve - approx. 135 acres/includes native flora and fauna

3. Honua’ula North preserve - approx. 35 acres/includes native flora and fauna

4. Ka’eo North Preserve - approximately 10 acres/part of Makena Resort legal settlement

5. Ka’eo South Preserve - acreage unknown/part of Makena Resort legal settlement

6. Ka’eo Mauka preserve - 100 acres/part of Makena Resort legal settlement/includes native flora and fauna

7. Ka’ono’ulu Cultural Preserve - 3 acres/includes site for a cultural center/part of State Land Use Commission approvals

8. Grand Wailea burial preserves - approx. 0.5 acres/part of agreement with OHA & Burial Council.
